Sarah and Molly are still asleep, thwarting our carefully-laid plans for an early morning Easter wander in the rain. Not only do Sarah and I now have to contend with our own inability to get anywhere quickly, but we also have to factor in Baby Time. For example, the agenda yesterday was a) a walk to Granville Island in the morning with friends, then b) a visit with different friends in the late afternoon. Sarah warned me that this scheme seemed rather ambitious for Molly's recent needs and behaviour. Foolishness, I said.
Due to feeding delays in the morning, the walk did not happen until noon, and then more feeding, diapering and other delays in the afternoon resulted in our standing up our second appointment. Of course, it was not Molly who neglected to bring my friend's cell number. (If you are reading this, guys, I deeply apologize. My fault entirely.)
I have been schooled in the glacial pace of Baby Time.
